whats the point of having empathy or sympathy to any kind of person that are very clearly not gonna have any type of meaningful relation in your life. obviously you should if you are unsure whether they will have one or not. but i just dont see myself being kind to someone i actually know i wouldnt talk to in exchange for anything but a reward like being paid back.
all that you should do is be respectful and polite with those that you know you wont care about. but never give them an arm simply to feel a better person, do that with your loved ones instead.

idk if being polite is generally something you always have to do i personally see it as something to just stay out of trouble with people but i get that yeah
