Speaking of which, yesterday Olivia Tremor Control released their third and final studio album. It's a bittersweet release, as Bill Doss and Will Cullen Hart have both passed away, in 2012 and 2024, respectively. The album has been in production technically since 2002, but further progress was made when the band "formally" reunited in 2009. I remember reading that Will Hart had written down keynotes for Almstead, NeSmith, and Kwasman in the way he wanted the album completed. I can't remember the exact context as to why they were written, but it was done as a precaution in case he wasn't available; it turns out that intuition was correct.
I quite liked the single Timewaster, but my other favourite would have to be Garden of Light.
