In all seriousness damn that's pretty bad, I know the war isn't very popular with a lot of people and peoples finances aren't the best but I thought they'd be doing a lot better than this

I was under the impresion that bibi is losing voters because he's too moderate. Like that one of the main criticisms he gets is that he's not harsh enough on gaza. Putin is under a similar dilemma with ukraine.

What actually happened is that he failed to deliver on regime change in Iran despite decades of hyping it up.

Of course, I don't expect the right lessons to be learned from this, because nothing is ever gonna change in the world until all boomers die out.

IMO I don't think taking care of Iran is necessarily a bad idea, but the execution of it has been rather poor. We killed their leader. Now what? Their country can now just run with some shadow government and their clitty leaking is causing oil prices to go up.
I'm assuming the idea was that the Iranians would take this moment to go rise up and overthrow the government, but clearly they don't care enough to do so

Trump has too much of an ego to do something like that and I'm not sure how Vance will stand as president. Maybe he'll walk back some of the tariff stuff further but idk
Also that too about the wars, you could argue that "oh there's less deployed troops" but it's still taxpayers money going into this and a good portion of Trump's campaign last time was about how Biden fucked up the Afghanistan withdrawl and how he had the plan and blah blah blah

I think you're forgetting the president's character is important as well. Yes, having a bad bedside manner but a great work ethic is better than vice versa, but he's an incredibly unlikeable person who was friends with a nonce until they had a falling out over a property dispute; he's talked about his own daughter in a sexual way; he met his current wife because of the nonce, and his son embarrassed himself during a rally, declaring Democrats want to turn the 17th state into the 51st state, and this guy not only represents the GOP but also the entirety of America. What do you think people are going to make of that?
Not that we're any better, given it took until Rupert Lowe for a proper inquiry on migrant rape gangs, because the government couldn't be arsed to fund it themselves, as they're protecting these deplorables.

But then you get into the external, personal, and important factors, like you've mentioned. Groceries and gas, housing prices, and the war with Iran and I'm not surprised it was a landslide.
