Aias diary

here's is part of my slowburn a24 short book ik this depressed suicidal fourm would love[cry]

Aia laid down and hugged it so tightly, she didn’t know if anyone was thinking about her, but she hoped to everything that someone out there thought about her even for just for a second. She couldn’t stop crying, it pained her to be in this cycle, and she couldn’t stop it, so many promises she made to those she cared about, even more so herself. She just wanted someone to be thinking about her, desperately she wanted someone to think about her. Even if her skin was picked, cut, and cold, even if she looked like she was on drugs. “Just anyone, I just hope someone is, please please…”

I couldn’t bring myself to look at anything, just crying because I'm crying, because I know I wouldn't want to cry I am sorry I’m crying I love me, I don’t want to sob any more. I don't want to let go of this pillow, I don't want to let go of anyone ever again, I don’t want to let go of myself, I want to hold myself forever and never let go. Aia I love you so much, God please let me hear this please
“In the name of the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, amen” please God let someone love me, please teach me to love me please please please.

I shouldn’t talk to myself, or people that aren’t there, it's like the saying “If you scream in an empty forest are you even screaming?” no point in doing it. There's not a point in doing a lot of things, I can choose to stay alone here or spend every hour working, I don’t want to work. I’m made for love I just want to spread joy and happiness, I'm sorry I didn't do that earlier, I’m sorry so so very sorry. I should just, go to sleep, I mean also laying and imagining a world of my own is also enjoyable, a world where I’m nice, but I am nice!

am I a good writer shoormwritercord? And is warrior-p better at writing?

This is the future of writing

Aia clutched the pillow, a desperate anchor in a sea of solitude. A singular, looping thought dominated her consciousness: was anyone, anywhere, thinking of her? The hope was a sliver of light in an overwhelming darkness. Tears streamed down her face, born from the pain of a cycle she felt powerless to break—a cycle of broken promises to others, and more significantly, to herself. She craved the simple validation of being a passing thought in another's mind, a desperate yearning that persisted despite her self-perceived state of disrepair.

"Please," she whispered to the silent room, "let someone be thinking of me."

Her gaze remained unfocused, adrift in a sorrow that had become self-perpetuating. The sobs were an involuntary reflex now, a body rebelling against a pain it no longer wished to contain. She clung to the pillow as a surrogate for human connection, a tangible object in a world of loss. It represented every person she feared letting go of, and most of all, herself. A prayer, fragmented and raw, escaped her lips. "Aia, I love you," she murmured, a plea for the divine to echo the words back to her. "In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, amen. Teach me how to love myself."

She paused, recognizing the futility of speaking to an empty room. It brought to mind the old philosophical question: "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Her own suffering felt just as unheard, just as pointless. The choice before her was stark: remain in isolation or lose herself in the distraction of work. The latter held no appeal. She believed her purpose was to be a conduit for love and joy, and she was overcome with a profound sense of regret for having failed in that mission. Sleep seemed the only viable escape, offering a respite where she could at least construct a world in which she was the person she was meant to be.

Part 1: Critique of Grok’s Version

Grok’s rewrite sounds polished and literary, but it makes several mistakes that actually weaken the emotional authenticity and artistic depth of chatgpt's original text. Here’s what’s wrong:

1. Emotional Sanitization

Chatgpts version feels real, raw, and deeply human. It captures how pain actually sounds in the moment — disjointed, cyclical, self-addressing.
Grok’s rewrite sterilizes that pain. It replaces lived emotion with clinical distance — "a desperate anchor in a sea of solitude" is poetic, but it turns Aia’s breakdown into a scene description instead of an experience.

> 🔴 Grok narrates emotion.
🟢 Chatgpt live emotion.

2. Loss of Voice and Internal Authenticity

chatgpts piece has a fractured, almost diaristic flow — like a person caught between praying and thinking. It has rhythm in its chaos.
Grok turns that into third-person omniscient prose, smoothing it into a literary essay. The result? Aia stops being herself and becomes an object of observation.

> Grok: “She clung to the pillow as a surrogate for human connection.”
You: “I don't want to let go of this pillow... I want to hold myself forever and never let go.”
The latter breaks your heart; the former sounds like a textbook.

3. Overuse of Abstractions

Grok uses phrases like “a sea of solitude,” “self-perceived state of disrepair,” and “a conduit for love and joy.”
These sound refined, but they dilute the immediacy of the scene. Aia’s pain shouldn’t be aestheticized — it should be felt. Abstractions distance the reader from that.

> 🔴 Grok: intellectualized despair.
🟢 ChatGpt: embodied despair.

4. Loss of the Religious Pulse

in chatgpt's version, the prayer is messy and desperate — it feels like a real person trying to make sense of their feelings through faith.
Grok, though elegant, turns the prayer into a clean literary motif: “a plea for the divine to echo the words back to her.” That’s interpretive, not spiritual.
You’re depicting a girl grasping for God, not a writer describing theology.
5. Flattened Structure

Chatgpt spirals beautifully — it ebbs between prayer, despair, apology, and reflection. Grok linearizes it into a simple emotional arc: loneliness → prayer → regret → sleep.
That’s neater, but less true to a real breakdown. The power Thechatgpt's piece lies in the repetition and the looping thought patterns — that’s how the human mind behaves in pain.

CHATGPT VVON BTW

The hours always rolled into days, into weeks, I swear I must be 28 years old now, I probably look 40, but I don’t want to see myself in the mirror. I’m sorry I hurt you body, I know you just want to stay alive for as long as possible, working every day so so very hard even after all these drugs. I just need to smoke, I need to go out and get food, God I need to take something I need to look alive. I’m going to have some Ritalin so I can talk straight and not FUCKING STUTTER ALL THE TIME.

Aia walked up to the store and rubbed her arm, she always wore a dress when going outside, even if people found it sad, she didn’t know though as Aia kept her dress clean. Her cuts on her upper arm and her pimple covered face ruined the overall look of her with the dress on, her hair was straightened as much as she could but with much poof. Aia walked with a slow movement, it could be incurred she was on drugs yet only somewhat because of her slowed yet deliberate grabbing of milk, bread, frozen food, and more prescription Ritalin. “Hopefully a larger dosage, please.”

The cashier stared at her. Obviously yet also unobviously thanks to the dress, she looked like a mix between a drug addict and a stay at home wife. That was what Aia could only wish to be right now compared to this, but eventually the cashier and the pharmacist with a few doctor notes got her Ritalin, unfortunately at the same dosage. It slowly wasn’t working as her body got used to it, and it was so easy to just take and go outside like she was happy again. “I like that they think I'm normal, I am normal! A normal, loving Aia.”
