I've been reading lots of texts on alchemy lately. I am more interested in its study and history rather than its actual practice, but I am not entirely against discussing it either. Do you think alchemy as a philosophy is good, or is it soul-destroying? Is Jung's interpretation of alchemy correct?

Most modern non-academic resources on alchemy are very, very bad. They pander to the new-age "I believe in everything without critical thought" people. There is one really good site, which I will link
