Some housing bills in California such as:
AB 2074: Increasing density and faster permitting for construction near transit.
SB 1116: Modifies state law to permit more starter homes to be built.
SB 1014: Forcibly make clear of infrastructure requirements to reduce risk and prevent delays.

Are currently at the governor's desk (Newsom has to sign them into law) which makes the current outlook at development and housing affordability optimistic, and then there is Prop 45, which I hope gets passed on the ballot in November.

Thing is that they'll keep blocking the strait as long as their demands are not met and at this point it's pretty clear they cannot be forcibly removed either. Iran is a logistical noobhell to invade, it's not like iraq that was all flat.
