It's not about if I were an animal. I'm just stating what I've observed. Even if animals do bully, or abandon their offspring, it's for the sake of survival, not retaining an image.

It certainty doesn't feel that way to me, especially when those roots are being warped during crucial developmental years by screens and the like. A child raised on an iPad blaring overstimulating propaganda isn't going to act the same as another raised by parents and their individual experiences and lives seeping through their every decision on raising it. Perhaps you're right though, but it doesn't change the fact that I just really do not like people.

Exactly. The primal nature of humans is what makes us do shit that is typically considered dummyed or inappropriate. If we removed that essence you'd just be left with unadulterated sapiency, which on its own is not enough to make humans, human. A balance needs to be struck between our primal and intellectual side, this is where common sense and critical thinking comes in. What good is a life lived with no emotions?
