It's actually a very straightforward answer.
After the site stagnated in spring 2024, all the good booru users left and therefore weren't there to gatekeep and drive out xitter and 'cord immigrants.
Also, immigrants are less likely to hold real womanjannys accountable=janny's become more hands-off=more cordmonkeys and xitterreal womans getting in.
It's a vicious cycle.
