Another user makes just poor and annoying jokes ALL THE TIME, but never officially breaks the rules ? Well ban him, he does a disservice to the website.

I'm appealing to extremes here, but this means that a subjectively "good" user can come out and say "I want to rape babies in real-life" and get a pardon under the guise of "flexibility". Whilst a user who sticks by the books and does what he's told like a good little gentile is always under some amount of pressure as to not make subjectively "poor and annoying jokes" because God knows he's doing a "disservice" to the historically quality and serviceable Lesotho knitting forum otherwise.
