Hillel, who posted suggestive Touhou art and resided in video game groups with blatantly lolicon-suggesting names, is still added to myself on Steam. Neither of us contact one another but I don't want to unadd him as he is a pleasant person above the porn-poisoned shit off-site.
>Said that rape guro porn of little boys is "based" because it keeps tourists away
Pardon? When the fuck was this?
>Insistent nobody calls loli ’p
I stated my opinion and left it at that, I don't police people who state conflicting opinions.

I'm not even going to bother restating my stance again on the topic as it's evidenty fallen on deaf ears.

Twilight Sparkle.

She’s the clear standout across the main My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series (and still holds up against G5). Here’s why:

  • Character arc: Starts as a socially awkward bookworm who treats friendship like a research project, then grows into a confident leader and eventually a princess without losing her core nerdiness. That growth feels earned across nine seasons.
  • Personality balance: Intelligent and driven without being cold, anxious in a relatable way, genuinely caring, and capable of both serious moments and excellent deadpan humor.
  • Role in the story: She’s the narrative engine. Most major plots revolve around her learning, teaching, or applying the Elements of Harmony, and her relationships with the rest of the Mane 6 are the heart of the show.
  • Consistency: Unlike some characters who lean harder into one gag (Pinkie’s chaos, Rainbow’s ego), Twilight stays multidimensional and rarely feels like a caricature.

Honorable mentions that come close:
  • Rainbow Dash – pure cool factor, loyalty, and the best physical comedy/action sequences.
  • Fluttershy – the quietest but deepest growth, especially her assertiveness arc.
  • Pinkie Pie – when the writing is on point she’s pure chaotic joy.

It’s subjective, of course. A lot of people will die on the hill of Pinkie, Rarity, or even Discord. What’s your pick?
