Cisco Packet Tracer is made by aliens

Packet tracer barely works and any time i try to do anything beyond ping PC2 from PC1 or set up vlan this stupid program does not cooperate, Im not even gonna get started on how badly it lags after setting up a realistic topology, even on a good PC that runs every other program/game just fine, even simply using traffic generator, nothing shows up in simulation mode, and so many fucking bugs and it lacks many features. what bothers me most is that its such a dummyed solution for universities/colleges, they use it even when trying to teach something beyond the basics, but for some reason they just settle and force you to use this monkey simulator because its the easiest to throw at students without having to actually put effort in teaching anything, there are literally so many better programs out there words words words it fucking sucks
