In reality it's more of a problem of infrastructure and hardware more than anything. Defending against a ddos is basically a fight of who can cough up more computing power and there are more efficient ways to mitigate attacks than others to gain an upper hand proportionally against the ddos efforts but for the most part the most effective solution is to simply pay more

Having a Bigger Wallet wont stop the governments of the world from blocking green reddit from the clearnet and then forever once some government official gets a hankering for arresting the infamous real woman stalker known as "Kiwi Farms". None of this stupid online shit was a way to stick it to the man. It was a way for you to talk about bug-human hybrids online and play video games while watching porn. The internet turned gay, but some people never got the memo and think they can bring back 2006 by just pushing this boulder a couple more feet up the hill.
