What the fuck went wrong at sony though
they literally held a solid unbreakable lead over ZOGbox for half of the 21st century so far, since the xb1 shitshow in 2013. like why NOW to shoot yourself in the foot? not even an impulsive thing, just several deranged decisions in the span of 90 days

They do this shit everytime they’re leading and have no competition, it happened when they made an ass of themselves with the PS3 launch and it’s happening again. Unfortunately there is truly no competition now, Nintendo has essentially isolated themselves from the competition and Xbox is a non-entity that might be spun off or sold sometime soon, so there’s no one to motivate Sony to get their act together.

Throwing in my useless noob take but Consoles is a modern cancer of gaming and one of the reason gaming got ensloppafied
Consoles were literally only usable when PCs either was too expencive or there were no home computers at all
They should've died when everybody switched to PC but sadly they didn't solely because millenials got used to them
And people who say they just want to play a game on their tv are actual braindead normgroids that have takes like if a game is not 4k hyperrealistic quality it looks like ass (he never played anything that's not a shooter or God of War at max)
They only consoles that have a little bit of use are portable ones, but only good one is a Steam Deck because you can actually play any game on it

steam os is very limited & dogshit but you can install any other os onto it & everything works fine except for the controllers because of driver issues so you can basically use it like a pc in fact i do use my own a lot for some things i do on my desktop just because its portable & i dont want to bother with a laptop

I have an XBOX One X that has been sitting in my room for almost a year, previous neighbors didn't really need it so they gave it to me.
I haven't used it because I don't have an HDMI cable to connect it to my TV and I don't want to buy one. (Also, there isn't much that I can play there and I don't think it has homebrew)
