Why doe? I understand urban police since urban areas NEED police in order to be safe, but why not rural areas in the U.S (i assume you are only talking about the United States)?

Why doe? I understand urban police since urban areas NEED police in order to be safe, but why not rural areas in the U.S (i assume you are only talking about the United States)?

There is basically zero crime in rural areas so the cops just harass the working man on his way to work with a broken tail light.
And if rural cops stumble across an ACTUAL crime ring, they just call in the urban cops to take care of it because they're too cowardly to deal with real criminals.
