lots of swarthy Christbrains are moralcacaing about this in the comments
>The child was born premature, at 26 weeks of gestation and a month after the earliest premature babies have survived, and supposedly suffered severe brain damage. That damage left the child with severe cerebral palsy, a visual impairment, and frequent epileptic seizures that were largely unresponsive to medication.

>The child was restless, often unable to sleep for long periods, and had mucus in the lungs that made breathing and swallowing very difficult. The committee’s ruling said the child’s developmental age was estimated at six weeks when the child was nearly 2 years old.

>“All facets of ‘being human’ — regarding motor skills, behavior, and personality — were severely impaired and were not going to improve..."

Its satanic

that's unfortunate
It's one of those "This is one of the worst situations to be in. What would you do?" because both the problem and the answer are equally horrifying. Is it the most humane? Yes. Is it the most difficult decision those parents will ever make in their lives? Yes.

It's easy to say you would have your child euthanised if he/she had a debilitating condition that was bound to never get better, but actually put yourself into that position. It's a lot easier said than done.
