In October this year, Alberta holds a referendum to see if they want to get out of Canada, though it's legally non binding and it will need approval from the federal government to get it going.

Personally, I don't think it will pass unless there's sreal womang meddling from the CIA into the results.

In that case, it could lead to possible civil unrest, tensions with the US and a civil war or military intervention from the yankees in the worst possible scenario.
Of course, this is wishful thinking by believing Canada is a real country with self respecting citizens, which is obviously untrue.

Not at all the same thing. If he establishes that america views even nato members as enemies then it will be impossible for anyone to cooperate with america on any level. It's much fucking dumber than surrendering a war for no reason, even if trying to get a peace deal in irans favour is probably the dumbest thing the american state has ever done so far.
