Do you use Ethernet of Wireless?

I even ran an ethernet from my computer room down my hallway into the living room for mi laptop use

Mine runs through the floor and across my entire house to my spot in the basement

i have a friend who used wireless but his "router" was his phone. he was using mobile data for his pc and ps4, no need to clarify he had one of the worst internets i have ever seen

I used to have to do this. I'd connect my phone to the wifi, then use wifi-sharing+hotspot and leave my phone halfway between the router and my pc.
My friends hated me and I was lucky if I got through a full match of BFV without disconnecting

to be fair it was insanely funny for my friend's situation. since all we played was gta 5 online and his jet would in various situations freeze in the air, or his mic would stutter while we killed him (which was even funnier considering he had a shitty mic)

ethernet, even though my wifi is 700 down 400 up, my ethernet cable can only handle 500 down and 300 up

its because of force of habit really, i prefer having an actual cable to follow when troubleshooting bad internet, besides that my house is made out of bricks so the wifi gets really shit in certain rooms

Yea, I think the most fun we ever had playing together was when everyone busted up laughing at how dogshit my internet was.
In battlefield I'd freeze for like 30 seconds at a time and my friends just saw me moving around like a tweaker
