I know I mentioned this, but I don't think I gave the whole experience:
I took three tabs around 10am (maybe) and my gf was with me, but sober.
I remember at some point in the morning seeing that thunderstorms were predicted that day, and I loved gloomy rainy days, so I was excited.
After the first hour, I was constantly checking my windows, extremely impatient waiting for the storms.
At one point, I stood on my bed looking out of the window. I saw bright blue skies and was disappointed. Right before I got down, I happened to look to the right and saw that the sky was blacked out
I rushed to the bay window in my dining room, and the cloud shelf was already so much closer than what I saw.
At the bottom of the shelf, the clouds were swirling like how media portrays souls swirling around. I've never seen anything like it (my gf confirmed it wasn't just a hallucination)
Between noticing the cloud, and the storm hitting my area, it was a minute at most. I was standing at my window watching trees get destroyed until my gf reminded me that you're supposed to get the fuck away from the windows.
It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, and I wish I never went into my basement since that window was never damaged.
In my basement, my brother called. They had sent him home once they realized how bad the storm was, and he was trapped outside of our neighborhood by fallen trees. I felt like such a piece of shit for being so excited for a (much calmer) storm all day while my brother was stranded trying to get home.
My house was lifted up enough that the basement walls started leaking. When my brother got home I told him we were tripping, and he said he was jealous, so I felt better about being safe and high while he was trying to drive home.
After it passed, I was compelled to go out and help my neighbors drag branches from the street
We completely lost power, and it was so awesome to be on acid while we all played board games by candle light. Back then, that was a rare time where I wished I was sober.
