I bought a shitty BIC and some shaving cream and it mogs the fuck out of the $50 electric one I had been using for years prior. Nobody told me how ineffective the electric ones are. I'm pissed off because now I finally don't have stubble and a shadow pedostache. Fucking liars.

You shouldn't do it because its easier to cut yourself when you don't have anything to lubricate your skin.

I use some electric Chinese one and it shaves me fine enough. Not sure what was wrong with yours if it was leaving you with noticeable amounts of hair left on your face. Mine gets the 'stache and all else.

Also note I make it a thing to only shave two times per year, besides trimming loose hairs I try to grow a beard.

I have an electric razor. It's fine for every day use and I like that it can have my dry without a problem, but it doesn't shave deep enough for it to be baby smooth, so I use a normal razor and cream for special occasions.
