the mf looks like a 80 yr old boomer, the class is supposed to feel chill but feel like hes doing it so "us young folks need to work hard" arbitrary. we're going to go through like 3-4 different books at the same time for the whole semester and the syllabus (paper for knowing how the class is gonna be) is worded weirdly and it's either we make a report on an article atleast 5 times or at worst every class period but i think it's the former since the latter sounds unfathomably dummyed for a Gen Ed course.

also is there a college thread that exists or are we just gonna use this one

Honestly at this point I'd just drop the course and find another gen ed to slot myself into. I'm not sure how your university works but mine has a shit ton of gen ed filler courses and I'm sure I could find one easy enough to get through. i've done a lot of work the past year of being here, i know i can do it but it'll be very much a pain in the ass. dorm printer doesn't work and traveling to the library to waste ink is doable since i had to use it instead of studying in my dorm due to shitty roommates. my last year was shitty enough with having to deal with said shitty roommates that see me as lesser beings and hordes of negroes causing problems in the dorms. i'll take a shitty class or two and have less free time to focus on work then being stuck living with a stranger who hates me.

Plus a dummy could do no work besides less than the bare mininum and cause problems and the system will bend over it's knees to keep it while classes themselves are dumbed down to the "everybody goes at their own pace" schtick because failing enough of these dummys who are too low iq to handle advanced learning and thinking will get them in trouble. i think i'll be fine, if at worst i can pretend to be LGBTQ so the professor's will have a better chance at letting me pass if i somehow fuck up.

i think i'll make a college thread somewhere here, like in /off topic/ or /blog/ btw soon.

University printers are so fucking ass, there's always lines, they're not particularly fast, and in the case of my university it was a pain in the ass to load up the credits to get anything printed, I had to use the university's unstable garbage app and pray I could load credits from there. You could only do it in intervals of 5 dollars too, shit was so annoying, why couldn't they figure out some actual PoS terminals for paying for printouts as an option?

I guess I understand, it means you get to spend more time chilling in the library and only go back to your dorm to sleep. Honestly my dorm life wasn't too bad in the scheme of things, my dormmate was okay but he was just really hard to talk to or converse with. It's a shame too because he was into vidya as well (including Sonic but I also saw him playing GTA IV on some Lenovo piece of shit God bless that thing) but it was just hard to get any sort of conversation out of him, after some time I stopped bothering.

My dorm floor was mostly full of basic white chicks, I didn't interact with them but some of them left whiteboards on their doors so I just wrote "Life sucks then you die" on all of them for sport

Also, do it in /blog/, it's more fitting and it wouldn't hurt to have a general thread here that people will inevitably use to blogpost about college

the functional printers here are free but they're in the class buildings & library, which are closed down for the weekends for some reason so you don't even get the perks of staying on campus. we do have vending machines that don't work and just gobble your money half the time.

i had two dormmates, both were bad drivers, i think i got them because there college usually sorts us out by race and were both white or white-looking. both of them didnt care enough about me to talk to me and would hunch over their phone on gachashit/tiktok on their beds for the whole day. i tried to do stuff with them but they never wanted to. one was a literal goyslave and had no interests and was a friendless loser, the other had same interests as me but didn't care enough despite having a friendgroup that was all jeets. the first one would always be blasting shit and never listened to me unless it was trying to get me to be it's personal servant, and when i told it to do it's own chores it became incredibly petty and decided to escalate with dumb shit until it was unbearable and a daily occurance. the second one we just existed and i stopped trying to be friends when i walked in onto him modeling roblox porn. we just existed until he came to me to set up new room rules he himself never followed once, and when i called him out he would get pissy with me whenever we were in the same room. main problem with them is they disregard the sleeping time that was set up so they could stay on their phones browing tiktok or some other shit well into the night. they would often make loud noises forgetting i'm there and when i tell them shit like "if you can't be quiet on it then don't be on it especially when it's hours past the agreed sleeping time" and they would get to screaming at me levels of angry on how it's apparently my fault despite me wearing earplugs and sleeping pills to try and drown out their noises only for them to double down. i guess it's a bad driver thing where they rotted their brains on their phone so long that staying off of it for basic needs is apparently a human-rights violation.

most of the dorm floors here are mostly negroes. the public bathrooms everyone uses are often trashed by them and they like to be loud in the hallways at quiet hours. they also act violent and would treat game playing tools like a pool stick or ping pong paddles like weapons and flail them around to fight or cause property damage. finding all the cool places to chill in the campus gets ruined by negroes or other browns because they usually arrive to be annoying and then if more of them come they get into a pissing contest to see who's the loudest. we have floor meetings where the assigned floors meet up to discuss how to behave like 4 times per semester but most of them don't attend those so it's basically pointless. there's other types of foreigners aswell but the majority are blacks.
