How to sleep well

I already know that all food is basically riddled with chemicals and shit, even if you try to go for "organic" foods - which is up charged and even more unrealistic to afford than non-organic. Of course we still have to eat, but even if a person eats "good" they're still getting chemicals, micro plastics and other substances placed into their system.
I would avoid food from china or india or any 3rd would countries because I heard heavy metals leach into the soil and enter the crops

  • Take 5-10mg of melatonin ~1hr before you sleep. The pills you put under your tongue are faster than the ones you swallow. For me the swallowed ones take like 1-2hr to make me sleepy while the tongue ones work in like 30min
This works until your body becomes accustomed to melatonin.
Sleep in a dark room. If you're tired of getting awoken by sunlight at 6am use light-blocking curtains. You can get them at IKEA.
Wear an eye mask.
Sleep naked. This actually makes it easier to sleep because of it being cooler or something something heat conduction.
Do this if you want your bed to smell like balls.
Use night light/warm light filters on your devices. Blue light makes it harder to sleep
If you look at your phone before you are supposed to be awake, you are a moron.
Don't look at your phone in bed, or any devices for that matter. Don't listen to music either. You are trying to AVOID brain stimulation, and staring into lights makes it hard to sleep.
See above.
Try going for a run or doing pushups to tire yourself out, but don't do it right before sleeping because exertion will make you more awake.
Do pushups.
Do something really boring and unstimulating before bedtime to make you even sleepier.
Play dominions 5
Some nutrient deficiencies will make it harder to sleep or fuck with your sleep cycles.
Take your vitamins, preferably in a powder form.
Falling asleep when sleepy is much faster. Consider going to bed instead of trying to force yourself to do more work if you're sleepy. You work more efficiently on more sleep anyways.
The world's easiest cop-out.
Milk makes you sleepy. It doesn't actually have to be warm.
Aim for at least 8 hours of sleep
Thanks for the advice, and I want to kill you.
