I want to buy eu5 have any of you guys tried it and if so what do you think of it

Holy shit don't be dummyed, pirate it or you'll find yourself having to spend 300 on dlc over the next 4 years for the game to be playable

It's already been out for 6 months, so you only need to wait a year and a half.
1.0.1.0 is the current pirated version I have and it's pretty fun but missing a lot of things like historical clothing evolving throught the few centuries the game takes place in so in the 18th century you still have generals in plate armor which is kinda silly.

Where did you get this "pirated version" from 👀👀👀👀👀

You don't have the byzantium dlc then? I remember you saying you wanted to play as them. Looking at the steam reviews it seems like you aren't missing out doe, it's at mostly negative.

Seems like an IP grabber I'll be spending 60 dollars now
Your loss.

You clearly haven't learned the paradox model yet then. You always gotta wait at least a few weeks after every dlc or major update drops for the bug fixes to come in because paradox always breaks every single own of their games when doing this. Also i don't wanna lose my Russia playthrough yet, I'll probably replay them when they add cossack content for Russia like in eu4 but it's still fun.

I haven't played it. I was asking because you seemed like you would be interested. But yes you should definitely assume paradox is going to break their game when they release a dlc.
