It's almost certainly towards the upper end of that estimate. I wouldn't be surprised if it was over 460 dollars to be honest. 29 dollars on a long form video with over 100 000 views would be a rpm so fucking terrible that I don't think it's even possible.
It's on the lower end. There's a reason why sponsors are such a big deal now. There's also the fact that a lot of views are just people pausing at the beginning to see the comments and not actually watching it. The higher estimate assumes full viewer retention throughout the video.

You sure? I've never heard of someone having a long form rpm under like 2.5 usd unless they actively target viewers in low income countries. Ians audience should also be older and primarily american or at least western, so that implies higher rpm. Sure retention is probably abysmal but it would have to be truly horrible to make 29 dollars from 100k views.

Views don't actually pay, it's ad views that do. That's the thing.

I'm fully aware of how the system works. As I said before anything below 288 usd (115x2.5) would be an extreme anomaly. Since the majority of his viewers are most likely being served ads targeted at americans or westerners in their 20s-30s I would expect it to be considerably higher than that. I also see no reason to believe that his viewers would be more likely to use adblockers than viewers of any other youtuber that isn't ultra normie. Retention is probably abysmal which decreases the rpm but it shouldn't make it super low since he has a valuable audience.

His average hate watcher isn't a normie doebeit. It's the kind of person who would have grown up watching him. Let's say 30k of those views are actual fans and maybe 40k are new viewers. That shit is still not making the peak, it is at most making 200 bucks which is still abysmal when considering Canadian living costs.

Of course there's more adblockers than normie youtubers. I was comparing to youtubers that aren't normie and saying ians audience probably has the same amount of adblockers. I also said I expected abysmal retention so the viewers not being fans is already accounted for. I would expect new viewers to be significantly less than 40k, genuinely probably closer to 0. It's important to remember that the biggest factor in rpm is age and nationality of the viewers and as I said, ians viewers are probably americans (the most valuable country in the world) or other westerners (the most valuable group after americans which are in their own league). His viewers are also likely to skew mostly 20s-30s which is a group that isn't super valuable, but it is a massive jump from children and teenagers.

I will say doe. That we do know his twitch earnings are in the lower end because most people buy the first subscription tier. He's at most making 400 a month there.

Stream revenue and video revenue aren't really comparable, but yeah, those numbers are bad.
I'm just bringing it up as a sidenote because when you add up all of their incomes together you realize they're making less than the minimum wage.

Youtube streams were such an embarrasing flop that he did exactly one and is back to streaming on twitch again. He first made the youtube livestream members only and now he completely deleted it [kek] [kek] [kek] [kek]

it's still members only, which has to be pretty desperate.
