I started going through this video and it’s shocking how he doesn’t realize what Ethan wants. What he wants is exactly this:

Very direct. Somewhat humiliating. 100 percent placing the blame on himself, complete loss of ego.
Instead he tries to deflect by stating that it was Destiny’s words, he didn’t agree with it (absolute bullshit), and justify it by saying he was angry and that no stalker child, it’s ETHAN who’s being a bully and harassing others and what Ian did was righteous.

I don’t know why the fuck he even bothered with uploading this drivel. Unless Ethan goes full dummy he’s not going to accept this, what he wants in an apology is pure submission and this in no way cuts it. Instead he made himself even more of a laughingstock by putting out a public video for us haters to point and laugh at and likely angered H33B Productions even more by being so disingenuous. All Ian had to do was let go of his ego problem where he can’t handle anyone giving him instructions but even when he’s facing the barrel of a great big lawsuit where he’s guaranteed some level of financial ruin he’s still unable to get over it in the name of basic self-preservation. Chris Chan has put out better apology videos than this. Absolutely insane

He won’t, that much is certain. What might change is the terms of settlement. Ian might’ve at least been able to get away with the money he made selling his home and only be forced to put out a humiliating statement, kind of like Kaceyreal woman and Frogan. I don’t think he’s going to get off that easy anymore.

More like he got really lucky that Ethan cucked out. Because this is basically an admission of guilt and he could have been raped in court if ethan went ahead with the lawsuit anyways. It was a very dumb strategy and it's an actual miracle that it worked. Never ever ever do this, ever.

Hasan denounces Ian for immediately apologizing and not defending himself in court. Now that I’ve seen this clip, I can understand Ethan’s vision for accepting Ian’s apology regardless of how awful it was, if anything how half assed it was makes Ian look even more pathetic, and now he’s more or less guaranteed excommunication from the Mosque of Hasan. A Kaceyreal woman type apology or bankruptcy would’ve made him a martyr to these dummys, now even they’re disgusted by him.
