No, it's an excuse to be promiscuous and fiddle around. If you indulge in polyamory, you are incapable of maintaining a proper romantic relationship with somebody one-on-one. Open marriages by extension usually break up the marriage or cause a huge rift between the couple for this very reason. I'm not going to take advice from the likes of Brigham Young or people who repeatedly killed their wives because they got bored with them like Henry VIII.
