Is the "web revival" salvageable?

The concepts of "social media le bad, corporate minimalism le bad, personalization le good" appeals to me but I can't help but notice that every. Single. Person. in that movement is some kind of real woman or furcaca or other cordnoob screaming from the rooftops about the exact ideologies that killed the "old web" they claim they're so nostalgic for.

Honestly chuds should all make their own websites and colonize the indie web. In an abstract sense the soysphere actually embodies the old web better than anyone because we're the only ones who don't larp as dnb real woman websites normal people stopped caring about in 2012; the combined experience of using this forum plus occasionally trolling the booru and/or keking at the wiki is unique to purely the soysphere and I would fucking love to see the real women of 2040 to try to "revive" it someday.
