It just annoys me. It doesn't matter if something that's made for americans is expensive in rupees, you are not the target audience. Why do they always make it about themselves? I saw one complaining about 800 dollars a month for rent, that's not even that much even in fucking TURKEY of all places. This is more apparent in tech related things where they will complain about the price of a phone/laptop/component that's either premium quality (so not for poor seamonkeys living in Jakarta) or it's just that their shithole has like 500% import tax

true but u also have to think what if you were poor and shit was manufactured in your country and sold for insanely dumb prices and you know what it costs really but are forced to buy rly expensive things bc the west imports it all and they dont want to sell under market in low income countries because people will try to resell
