I remember fake candy caca were hard to get for a while. In Ireland "smarties" are a brand of coated chocolate balls. Basically a poor mans M&Ms.

I remember eating like a random selection of colored candy things like samrties but they were super random in a plastic bag from a local candy factory and they were so tasty but it was like 10 years ago so idk if I would be able to find them

I really like those sorts of candies. I'm not a sweet connoisseur, but when I do have candy, I usually prefer those chalky, minty hard candies and or gelatine.

This, but I'd swap gelatin for chews (like skittles/now and laters/airheads/etc.)
