I really don't want my body buried in a casket after I die, because the thought of my physical corpse lasting for decades in a dark box underground (while everyone else has moved on/forgotten about me) is awful. Typically I am not some moralcaca, but cremation is vastly preferred. And my ashes shall be scattered in the Rocky Mountains. I like John Denver.

It wouldn't work. The internet was "edgy" for lack of a better term, but it wasn't yet cynical in the way that it is now. I feel like the posts would come across as more people embodying the soyjak in a tongue-and-cheek manner, rather than outright mocking it, and yes, there is a difference.
