Looking at local jobs in the area and there's absolutely fucking nothing entry-level. Old boss still won't get back to me. Mother keeps bringing up career ideas every other one-on-one conversation I have with her. Cargokeks, do we just kill ourselves?

Fuck it, going to text my old boss again. My back-and-forth with him thus far has been an email back-and-forth where after my second inquiry for an update he went silent. This was followed shortly by a text back-and-forth where he told me to ring him the following week, I done so, and he said he'd ask around the office. It's been two weeks since that and he's still ignored me. Other employees have reportably asked about me to my parents to which they were surprised to hear that I wasn't able to get back right away. I contacted the bosses son who works there and he didn't even open the message because he's gone to go on a honeymoon.

If my boss doesn't magically accept me in with open arms overnight back into the comfy air-conditioned office, and all my career issues don't go away shit will be grim. I'll either work as a bottom-rung whipping boy on some construction site somewhere until my back goes brittle as is my fathers. Try and kiss my aunties ass into letting me work in the local council at a bottom position for years on end - likely as a traffic sign flipper cacaot where maintenance on infrastructure is being done - until I get moved up slightly. Look for some crappy theory-related engineering job as it's the only subjective I excel at in school, or as a final choice, battle immigrants for years on end just to get the CHANCE to work retail. All roads likely lead to suicide before 28 regardless, unless by some miracle the economy fixes itself and I can retire at 30 and live off tinned food and purified lake-water in a camper-van until I croak.
