the tamagotchi community is genuinely dummyed, when they discontinue old models every foid/real woman goes crazy and starts pricing at the hundreds. my mom has been collecting them for a while and has started mass buying all the ones she wants because of how expensive they get. they are literal toys and with every new model they dont get anymore interesting. its even more dummyed than pokemon cards jej.

sometimes i feel like i have a problem with impulse buying its been 2 times in a row for my bday/Christmas where i have bought something then for cheaper or at the same price i could have gotten something better when i was 12 it was my 3ds which i could have gotten a better one for a bit less last year it was my ps2 which if i had waited just a week later my local game store would have had another slim that wasnt covered in spray paint either way i am happy with what i have still but i think i should start learning how to know when i should wait to buy something
