i dug up an old modpack for ets1 and managed to install it on linux, drove around a bit from wien to kiev, kiev to riga and thought "wow this actually runs great on my shitty pc, and dosent look half bad either"
so i spent a good 2 hours trying to get an old version of ets2 working, finding an old gamekey for it, then getting it to run on linux just for it to run like absolute shit even on the lowest settings where it looked worse than ets1
maybe frogcacas were right when they said to just shut it down
