I just run Windows 10 on my Deck, to be more specific Projek01. You're better off in the long-run. The Windows drivers honestly aren't that bad if you install Steam Deck Tools to round everything out.

GNU/Linux is great, but SteamOS fucking blows. CachyOS Handheld Edition is still rough from my testing and everything other distro has bad hardware support or painful setups to get it working.
