Especially when it will likely drop in price at least $20 and be improved within a year. noobs will be joining online for the next 10 years, no need to worry about getting in on day one.

I do, the BAR or M16 would be like a dessert rather than a meal. I've also shot a Garand, Thompson, and MP40 (not transferable for the last two)
It's just a fun thing to do once in your life. Realistically I wouldn't buy a BAR or M16 unless I was RICH rich, but I'd like to shoot a lot of guns.
I just like historic guns and I wish I could handle everything from ww1 onward before I die
