Benjamin Netanyahu just knocked my front-door and when I answered he silently showed me a polaroid photo of every character I've ever waifucacaed all now existing in real life, beaten and bloody, tied up in a dingy basement to metal rusted pipes. Before I could even say anything he just wagged his finger in my face, smirked, and faded out into thin air, taking the photos with him.

i was taking asuchwitz shower today and i remembered the whole andrew yang/universal basic income thing all of a sudden

tbh i never thought about it in detail, but the more i tried to find possible logic/solutions to issues, the more difficult it became to defend it like at all

>iirc they wanted $1,500-2,000 a month for people, not realizing how that's well beyond most actual SSA/retirement and disability checks in a month
>assuming people wouldn't just spend it on stupid shit, just give them a flat $1,500 in the bank, sure! but whatever you do, never give a homeless guy a $5 bill, because he'll spend it on booze.
>US federal budget is already strained from old fart boomshits not wanting to die
>everyone who shills it complains about welfare/EBT laziness (which do take actual effort to get by the way, relatively speaking)
>and surely it wouldn't affect inflation and taxes!!!!


it's one of the few things where i sincerely believe you could only support it if you genuinely didn't know anything beyond a 2-sentence flash card definition. doesn't take an IQ of 180 to realize that, even 80 would be enough.

Watching back some old YouTube videos I loved as a kid and due to YouTube aggressively recompressing older content the bit-rate is plain awful. A shame too, I recall 480p looking so crisp when I was younger that I'd often choose it over 720p for the sake of streaming the video content faster. 1080p was disgustingly overkill.

1080p is perfectly fine as the status quo. 1440p is the highest and anything higher is just way to overkill. Also I just noticed but 240p actually seems quite good. Sure text is absolutely unreadable but there's a surprising amount of detail in visually.
