Music is an increasingly accessible medium and there are a lot of dummys who will listen to shitty music for a whole list of reasons.
No idea what "band," but I keep seeing people on Twitter glazing a specific song where the "vocalist" has no rhythm at all. I actually enjoy shitty music, but it's still a bit much for me
