Bit torn as to sleep or not. Finished some personal hand-curated archival matters I've been meaning to see too and that is enough to call for a rounding out of the night for me seeing as I'm quite proud of it. I dunno, don't feel tired whatsoever. It's a shame the third world and social-media platforms absorbing web traffic absolutely ravaged any and all soul left in the broad concept of online fandom. Archiving all the junk I like has led me to all sorts of websites and dumps, really puts the "surfing" aspect into the web, even if you're moreso just observing dead water with nobody left in it kicking about except for a few small groups of unrelenting oldcaca.

So unfortunate how compact the internet has been made now. Long gone are the days of broad palletes and categories for every fans choice, now you either block what you don't want to see or let recommendation algorithms find things for you, and what's the fun in that? I don't know how to forumulate this well, but the Shroom feels like one of the only remaining "pallete" discussion spots anymore. "Don't like ____ about ______? Come here and adapt to our ways and culture potentially more suited for your pallete, but don't worry, we're still focused on the core basis of the community!" Y'know? That's all mostly a thing of the past now and it sickens me.

Imagine if TADC came out in 2010? There'd be so many boorus, forums, fan-sites big and small, and who know's how much else! Then people who like the show all get friendly on said small forum and become run-of-the-mill mates. I suppose this all exists on Discord today on a smaller scale but I don't use the damn thing so I can't really speak of it.
