out of everything it looks like they went wrong with in the oot remake im disappointed it doesn't look like they added anything to the overworld
the only noticeable thing is that i saw someone point out that the ice cavern looks like it got expanded
i would probably care less for the shit art style if there was more to do in the game besides just walk a empty small open area to the next dungeon

i feel like if i was the director of a oot remake, i would not change the art style, just a bit higher poly and acceptable detail (developmental concept art is helpful in this process). and take some elements from the beta and probably make it lively in some empty areas*unless doubted*. also adding the original gerudo symbol, blood, and the uncensored fire temple song.

tbf the remake has no need to even exist since the 3ds remaster did pretty much everything right so they really could have just ported it to the switch 2
on the other hand the majoras mask remaster was terrible without the mod that fixed all of what nintendo ruined with it so that could have been something they could've remade & it would have been a good remake if they went about it right
either way you cant really get shitllennials to shill shekels for majoras mask in the same way as oot + im sure the remake is just a glorified tech demo to show off the graphical capabilities of the switch 2
