Come to think of it, I'm surprised a Backrooms film was made before an SCP one. Especially given that there was a Slenderman movie a few years back, you'd think there would be a slew of new movies derived from creepypasta stories, including SCP, but I suppose not.

That sounds like an abysmal idea. I'm not too familiar with the mandela catalog, but isn't it just a bunch of weird, photo-manipulated faces with a VHS filter plastered over it to give it a dated feel, which is somehow inherently scary?

the only analog horror i thought was good was something starting with a v & based around meat creatures but that was only because they used subpar puppets for some scenes & it would be a pretty shitty movie & more or less be a quiet place clone

i always thought the weird autistic or adhd kids were always interesting when i got to be around them despite the fact that they always seemed to do some of the bs i did when i was little
the only person i ever had come over to my house was one of them & he was funny but a massive sperg until my mom made me stop being friends with him after forcing me to be friends with him in the first place
i'd like meeting more people like that now but idk because last time i did ass of late they were annoying & just spewed slurs & anti jew stuff despite literally being a liar then he tried hitting me over a joke
on the other hand it makes me wonder if i never out put all my energy acting like that in elementary maybe would be like that now which makes m somewhat thankful for how bad things were then & how it makes me what i am now despite it somewhat alienating me from most people for not really being either too weird or too normal
