i be extremely dummyed but have always had a knack for overlapping sperg "special interest" shit, pertaining to redundancy/damage control/graceful failure in many domains. like how bismarck's engineering crews rerouted electrical/communications/engine systems to keep the vessel in a cohesive state during increasingly chaotic circumstances, or the methods the human brain employs to save itself involuntarily after mortal injury (controlled by lower-level nervous system components), or just using pliers to rip out capacitors from an old ass PC tower and seeing how long it can stay active before shutting off. but it is very useless since it is quite broad
