If you mean “why do some things get stereotypically associated with Black American culture even when people doing them aren’t Black,” that’s mostly cultural diffusion rather than ethnicity.


Weed, certain slang, music styles, clothing, memes, etc. have spread globally through U.S. music, movies, social media, and especially hip-hop. So someone in Argentina might imitate something they associate with Black American culture without there being a large Black American population around them.


That doesn’t really make the person “honorary Black,” though—it’s borrowing or participating in a cultural trend, not changing their ethnicity.
