What's wrong? I suffered a much worse rejection in high school and what I learned is that it's not worth suffering for extended periods of time after it happens. Feelings come and go.

In hindsight, I think it's for the better that we didn't end up together back then. I was very emotionally immature about love and it would have been bad for both of us. Now im in a better place mentally and that's why I want to pursue a relationship irl.

That reminds me: the only "move" I ever made in school was offering a lass some sealed extra cookie I bought in 9th grade. She (politely) declined, and after that I retreated to a hidden area of the front foyer until the day I graduated. Like I never ate in the cafeteria again. Probably for the best.
