General thread
I don't know how I feel about Linux anymore, there's so much crap on the market and nearly all of it blows big time. SystemD is a bloated mess, Wayland is a buggy featureless slog and cooperations are slowly seeping into everything surrounding the kernel. Every distribution that doesn't have the former has a catch of some kind, whether that be lacking package repositories, over-complicated pedantic gimmicky nonsense, or a lack of maintenance. The addition of Rust doesn't bother me, but I can see the concern. I'm starting to believe that a spin of BSD may be the future of liar-free white-man computing bliss, or perhaps I'm off the mark entirely.

just use a window manager noob

If it doesn't benefit your productivity then I dont see a point. I don't know much about hyprland but KDE plasma is probably the best option because it's beautiful
kde is the best de yes, I also was a wmcuck back in 2021, here is my i3 rice from 2021 1000103022.png

It's like how the rust programming language is full of real womans too. Maybe because they flock to cutting-edge stuff? Either way Mint won
A lot of real women are trend chasers and Arch and Rust are trendy. Since Rust is new it doesn't have as many people as C or Javascript they quickly overwhelm it. Arch is trendy and people talk about the AUR and the same can be said about NixOS
