antiX is amazing on older hardware. Feels like an actual lightweight complete OS as opposed to TinyCore and the various flavors of Puppy. I have nothing but respect for their efforts despite the political nonsense.

Never used it before, how functional is it

As functional as most other GNU/Linux distributions really, which is a miracle on older hardware. There's nothing too spectacular about it asides from the included software choices and community support. It's just a damn good Debian fork ala Devuan.
