April 30th, 2026: Final day of April, I woke up and finished off my coffee creamer. I took the bus to work and got in early. I received a message from Jade reading:
<Hey Gemerson! :) this is Jade from the center. Could I have your current mailing address? We tried to send a thank you note from the but the address had it return to sender
I told her it and then got to work. One of the first things I did was getting the correct placement of the files so there’s a functional page now. Eventually the Indian lady came over to me and told me it’s unacceptable to use a ripped up piece of printer paper for notes, I apologized and she gave me a blue sticky notepad which I thanked her for. I was quite bored today and did a paper refill of the 3 main printers.. I ended up having some paper left over which I usually don’t have issues with. I said hi to Kiana and then I went to get pizza for lunch. I got back into Seth M’s branch and spotted Kiana, Keke, Joy, and Portia all sitting at one table while I was getting ice. I departed at 1:01pm and then took the bus to classes. The walk there was uneventful but I got into the room and tried to read An Essay in Aid of a Grammar of Assent, going through all the required pages. I understood ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. When Seraphim got in I talked to him and he said he didn’t know either but had a better understanding, Kaufman understood it a slight bit better but his notes were incomprehensible to me. Magdalene asked us if we had a discussion assignment due last night and we said yes. I decided to act super judgemental as a joke and Seraphim said:
“Gemerson, we’ll never understand you.”
With Magdalene agreeing:
“You’re such an enigma.”
I took pride in that. Bakhita wasn’t present for class. Class itself was slightly more understandable with Horseradish explaining things better. I walked back home after that time. I first passed a guy with a beard who didn’t look transgender in the slightest wearing a dress, then Urbino, and finally Nintendo girl who I talked with before her online class. She congratulated me on graduating soon. I walked home and texted with the women I was going to go on a date with to shift our date to Saturday at 6:00pm. I did the testing for a game which was called FlashCardRougelike. It had the standard tests like booting up the game, loading the CSV file in, creating a new study set with the first 4 presidents. I got a call from my father which I didn’t pick up on accident, probably him just demanding that I build him an AI agent something The game could load multiple study sets at once but would often blend multiple CSV files so when asked what the name for the term is for the result of multiplication, Thomas Jefferson was a possible answer. It was very slow gameplay wise and I did 2 floors before intentionally dying. I liked the concept and then submitted the review. I played more Fire Emblem Awakening until 11:45pm when I took a shower and went to sleep.
