Ok, so I tried for every number from 0 to 40 against a random number, half a million tries for eachNot quite
As I said the real answer is not just a number, it's more like a system
Haha you're getting somewhere for sure, but you're not seeing the bigger picture yetOk, so I tried for every number from 0 to 40 against a random number, half a million tries for each

The best pick would be something between 15 and 20, but that's assuming the enemy chooses randomly. If the enemy thinks of playing smart too, they will choose around 15-20 as well, meaning I have to prepare myself for that and choose a little bit higher. But then again, the enemy wants to prepare themselves too so they want to choose a little bit higher. What are the chances of the enemy playing smart anyway? We never know. So basically the best number is something above 15, up to even 30 if you think the enemy is playing smart and is daring.

The answer is that you should use random generation to pick a number between 1-58. That is optimal
