MegaMan Legends: the first branoob game

Mega Man X fans will watch the most crazy cinematic they've ever seen with so much story buildup just to go fight Shitty Stoat who dies in 5 shots to Pissing Piranha's weapon.
>t. got buckbroken by X3 so hard xe has to cope and make stuff up

I've never actually done all that, I only played X and X2.
X1 and X2 are baby games compared to X3, which is so fucking hard that capcom had to completely flip with X4 and make it the easiest in the whole series. Reason why is that X3 is balanced around upgraded X, not around base X.

I've always hated Super Nintendo emulation so I'm never really in a rush to play any games for the system. Its why I never bothered going further.

Inafune was the most unoriginal cacaot, he made the bad guy of Mega Man X just be a reskin of Dark Man 3 and expected us to not notice. Mega Man 5 came out in 1992 and Mega Man X was 1993, there wasn't even any time between these. These games happen canonically like at least 50 years apart.

>just the same color scheme

What about the cannon arm? Its too similar to be a coincidence.
shoulder cannon does not equal cannon arms in a franchise where a defining factor for many characters is having a cannon arm.

They're basically ports, console level difficulty on gameboy would be insufferable so they changed things up
All of the Gameboy Mega Men except V share bosses with the home console games but that's really it when it comes to similarities, the level design is completely different. Plus Wily doesn't have a castle, he always has a space station, and they always have an original Mega Man killer boss fight before the space station. They're even fan service-y in V because you refight all 4 of them.
