i do believe netherite ruined public servers. The higher the tiers/tools there are in the game, the more you're forced to play it less like a game and more like a job because there's always that one obsessed noob who gets everything day one and then ruins it for everyone. It's what happened to us in the terradivisa raid, a bunch of unemployed real women had the best gear in the game, and even with diamond tools and overwhelming numbers we lost because the powercreep in modern minecraft is thru the roof. Last i heard of there is now an instakill mace in the game.

its modded minecraft but with the stupid real womanslop mods that dont do anything except make it feel more like a HECKIN WHOLESOME COZY WORLD!!!!!

i liked minecraft when the only structures were dungeons, mineshafts, and villages which were much rarer. now it seems like the game is focusing more on the exploration aspect than the creativity aspect, which i feel like was the only thing setting it apart from most games at the time. minecraft is only boring if you're uncreative and can't think of anything to do. levers and chests, the new game notch is working on, seems promising. it's an oldschool roguelike instead of a sandbox game, but the graphics still have his style which made older minecraft textures so great.

BTW i hated when they changed the lighting from white to orange. white light just makes things look better imo

Ancientcaca versions have modded kino like hbm ntm and srp doe. They also dont assrape my laptop with 9999999999 new things. I love nucraft but I cant play modded nucraft on my laptop therefore its slop.

If you use the Golden Days texture pack, it'll revert the textures to how they were in beta, along with the splashes. Not only does it remove political splashes, but it also re-adds splashes that mention Notch. Also, for new blocks/items they retexture them to look like beta.

I think it's a mixed bag. The new versions have a lot of cool stuff but a lot of dogshit ultra noob cancer like the sniffer. I think the old versions have too little content for my taste, but I believe primary reason people act like this is that the old versions had a different vibe and prioritized different stuff, so that's why they soyface over it.
