dude its not the same i get what youre saying but you have to understand that he genuinely made a mistake and his guillibily led him to believe his friends (jannies btw) who told him it was a falseflag along with karas explanations.
do you really think it makes any sense AT ALL for mist to partner up with someone he fully believed was a csam spamming pedophile to make a supposedly non-hostile splinter??

I could believe it if he didn't know it was Kara. Say if Kara was using an alt-name to deceive mist, but he knew it was him. Like I said, there's a point of dummyation where you can only assume conscious malice, that is knowing fully well that Kara has been known as a 'p spammer on several sites for years now and still choosing to hire him because two guys on the mod team that he leaked btw told him

im not aware of how much mist knew about kara regarding the evidence of the accusations, i also dont know how much was kara discussed between the joons, but think about it if it happened this way

theres obviously going to be some confusion, he should have inquired further regarding the accusations before blindly trusting the words of his friends i agree but i dont think he did anything out of malice

i dont know how much kara was discussed in jannycords, based on what mist told me he didnt seem to be aware of the extent of the accusations for some time, and when he did become partly aware people around him (who were also in power and he largely trusted) had already shaped his view of them being falseflags.
