My parents are lukewarm

speak with close friends
Maybe he feels close enough to this website that he felt comfortable asking for advice here. Especially considering a lot of the users here are also knowledgeable Christians that would be more than happy to give pertinent advice, or at the very least just not try to derail the thread

update
They have flaked out on church again. This is the second week in a row they have not gone, I think it's because my mother wants to sleep further into the day and church is in the morning around 9.
I know this because just today I asked him and he went to my mother for an answer.

Both of my parents have a very serious issue and I need your thoughts on this.
They have become lukewarm, especially my mother. She does things with healing crystals, tarot cards, essential oils, and things like that, but the hardly ever participates in going to church. She is either very irritable and aggressive or very energetic. She sleeps for prolonged periods of time (often until 10 o'clock or later) and takes frequent naps while my father wakes up around 6 for work. Every few months she will start fighting about something extremely silly or just for the sake of getting angry, sometimes threatening to divorce my father (which is one of if not the worst thing you could possibly say to someone you are married to).
At night they will often have sex obnoxiously. They keep a bottle of sex lube on their nightstand as if they are showing it off. My father seems like he is doing better than my mother since he actively prays before he eats and acts normal, but he does absolutely nothing to stop my mother from becoming an atheist. Both of my parents claim that they are Christians which is very bad and dishonest. I feel afraid to try to convert them back into Christianity. Can someone help me with this
I'm sorry for what you're going through, especially since i can somewhat relate to this. Try talk to your dad about it first and afterwards have a talk to your mom with him, works for me usually. Also try not to mention shit like your parents loudly fucking on a soyjak website, especially considering how real womeno latched onto you having to take out those bins that one time.

ur the one who sounds butthurt, not me

end of discussion
>You're obsessed
>not me
>no more talking

(Btw this is only some constructive criticism and just a bit of banter as i am not one of your detractors, as they are all pedos. And i'm actually one of your biggest fans btw if that matters [wholesome][wholesome][wholesome][wholesome][wholesome][wholesome][wholesome][wholesome][wholesome][wholesome][wholesome][wholesome])

This is not about my parents or anyone else but for the past month or two I have been looking into Christianity a lot and I have noticed I have been thinking and acting differently than I used to. I feel very disinterested in things like soybooru and the shroom. Whenever I am listening to someone speak I always notice when they swear but before it felt normalized to me and I wouldn’t even notice. The one that feels the best to me is that my mind used to feel very “heavy” or “dirty” in that it felt like I had too much thoughts or information in my mind and it was kind of miserable. Now I feel like my mind has been renewed. I feel cleaner and almost “lighter” in a very hard to explain way. Lately I have also been thinking of lots of things I did in the past that were disrespectful or sinful and I have genuinely felt guilty. Does anyone else feel like this

I also have a feeling that I do not care about certain problems or things that are happening that I would’ve been very concerned with in the past.
So much if not all of the things that we stress over are worldly. Your house and your car and your computer and even your own body will be gone eventually. The only thing that really matters is your soul and your salvation.

It really does suck when it feels like your family is becoming or is evil. I can relate heavily.

I think I've felt this too as I've been actually going to church and getting more involved with God. I've just recently put things into perspective and realized how I used to let myself get stressed by pointless little things, when everything is going according to God's plan.

Both of my parents are atheists. Despite this, i've always felt at the very least as somewhat of an agnostic Christian.
